You will design and publish a free Blogger (open-source software) web page to educate society on specific topics in health informatics, based on what you have learned.
Creating your entries:
- Each entry should be no less than 500 words.
- A total of seven entries (i.e., four from Weeks One through Four, and three new entries for Week Five’s FinalProject).
- All entries should be double-spaced. Use 12- point Times New Roman or Arial font.
- You may use Bold and Italic formatting to help your text visually.
- If you have written a document or presentation that you developed during your course program that you feel mayalign with the topic of discussion for the week, you may include a link to your work as a reference point for otherinformation on the subject.
- Add pictures, video, audio, and/or links to articles that you may find in the Ashford University Library and/oronline peer reviewed articles.
- Limit the pictures and links to one per topic unless it was a part of the original submission.
- There must be at least three resources per entry that date back no later than five years, and they should appear atthe end of the entry in a reference list that reflects APA style formatting. Two of the three sources must beobtained from the Ashford University Library.
- Spelling and grammar should be correct.
- The introduction page of your project is either a Microsoft PowerPoint or a Prezi presentation about you.
Each week you will address one of your chosen topics in a blog entry. Choose at least three topics to write on from this list:
- Health care informatics evolutions and transitions to today
- The impact on the electronic medical records integration
- Current health care information systems
- Telecommunications and networking concepts for health care
- Continuous quality monitoring and accreditation in health care
- Legal and ethical aspects of health information management
